Personal Counseling Services, Inc.

Personal Counseling Services (PCS) provides outpatient mental health services to fragile, traumatized and marginalized children and families in 17 Indiana counties and 4 Kentucky counties.  Founded in 1959, as a non-profit, 501 (c) 3, PCS provides comprehensive and evidence-based services that includes psychotherapy, music therapy, gender-affirming care, medication management, Intensive Outpatient Programs as well as Play Therapy. 

Mission: To provide mental health services to everyone desiring wellness of body, mind, spirit and community.

Sixty-seven percent of our clients are children and youth.  Fifty-seven percent of our clients are at or below the federal poverty guidelines.  We accept most commercial insurance, Indiana Medicaid and Indiana Medicaid Waiver for Music Therapy.  Additionally, we have an adjusted fee scale for those with no insurance.  Many of our clients are fragile and marginalized.
