Who We Are
Blueprint 502's mission is to champion young adults to be great citizens who build productive lives and sustainable communities. Our campus houses 11 different programs: YouthBuild Louisville, Brownsfield, Youth Housing Program, Urban Conservation Corps, Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician, HazMat Kentucky, Project Warm, SummerWorks, S.T.E.A.M.S., Smoketown Community Center, and G.E.D. Testing Center.
What We Do
YouthBuild Louisville is an education, job training center for low-income young adults 18-24 years old. Our five key components of the program are Education, Vocational Certification, Case Management, Community Service, and Placement. In addition to our flagship program, we have our Urban Conservation Corps (UCC) and Housing Youth First Program (HYFP). UCC members complete hands-on conservation efforts and community garden maintenance while learning the Roots of Success curriculum. HYFP has already permanently housed 45 youth and provides an additional 20 youth case management and peer support specialist services. Additionally, we have other programs that range from job development trainings and home weatherizations to youth camps and mentoring.
Our volunteers can serve in a variety of areas! Our greatest need is generally assistance with the YouthBuild Louisville Program, UCC, and HYFP.
