PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Volunteers will be filling 1500 backpacks with school supplies.
At the completion of the project, the backpacks will be picked up by 35+ nonprofit agencies who will distribute them to students across Metro United Way’s seven-county service region.
ABOUT DAY(S) OF ACTION:
Metro United Way’s Day of Action launched in 2018 to harness the spirit and power of volunteers, bringing corporate teams together to take on some of our community’s toughest challenges. Over the last eight years, more than 2,000 volunteers have completed 170+ projects in seven counties in KY and IN.
