Make a difference by removing invasive species in the Beargrass Creek State Nature Preserve. No previous experience is necessary for this work, but volunteers must be able to lift up to 25 lbs, hike in all types of weather, and use basic tools such as loppers and shovels. Closed-toed shoes are required, and we recommend bringing a water bottle, wearing long pants and long socks. Please note that this work is outdoors, so volunteers should dress for the weather in clothes that can get dirty.
