Individuals and groups are invited to join Yew Dell Botanical Garden's Garden and Arboretum Manager, Sayde Heckman, the second Saturday of every month from 9am-12pm to engage in a group work project. Projects are varied depending on the season and the needs in the garden. Activities have included pruning and cleaning up downed limbs from our Arboretum, mulching, clearing fencelines of brush and weeds, helping with special plantings in one or more gardens, etc. Individuals or groups interested in participating must click here to sign up. Plan to arrive at Yew Dell Botanical Gardens, 6220 Old LaGrange Road, Crestwood, Kentucky at 9am. Wear comfortable clothes, close-toed shoes, a mask and bring a refillable water bottle.
