We encourage all residents to take part in the spring 2022 Brightside Community-Wide Cleanup on Saturday, April 16th.
The event is a great service opportunity for boy/girl scouts, sports teams, faith groups and community organizations. It could also be a corporate team bonding opportunity! All volunteer groups will receive Brightside litter bags, gloves, and Brightside will coordinate with our partners at Louisville Metro Solid Waste to remove collected bags at the conclusion of your cleanup. Brightside is also happy to help groups choose an area to cleanup should you need assistance.
Cleanups are an integral part of Brightside's mission and without the help of volunteer groups, and many other volunteers throughout the year, Brightside could not achieve their goals of a cleaner, greener Louisville.
