The staffs of Louisville Downtown Partnership and Block by Block will organize teams to clean up the area around and adjacent to Slugger Field on E. Main and E. Market. Clean up will include litter collection, sweeps of loose gravel, removal of old, metal tree stakes and minor tree trimming of lower branches.
The area targeted runs from Floyd west to I-65, from Jefferson north to Waterfront Park, and also includes I-65 underpasses.
Groups should meet the organizers on Witherspoon Rd. behind Slugger Field.
