Serving on the Board of Directors at Mammaw Sandy’s Kitchen is an opportunity to support a mission centered on empowerment, inclusion, and meaningful employment for individuals with disabilities. Our board members provide strategic oversight, safeguard the organization’s mission, and ensure ethical, transparent governance.
Board responsibilities include:
• Guiding long-term planning and organizational direction
• Upholding fiduciary duties, including financial oversight and policy compliance
• Supporting the Executive Director and participating in key decision-making
• Promoting the organization within the community and expanding mission-driven partnerships
• Attending quarterly virtual meetings through Zoom.
Board members bring diverse backgrounds and perspectives, working collaboratively to strengthen our impact and sustain responsible growth. Their leadership is essential to building a community-focused nonprofit that creates real opportunities for individuals of all abilities
