Give for Good is almost here! We need volunteers to canvass neighborhoods  and businesses across Louisville, handing out flyers and talking to residents about this year's giving day on September 10th. No experience needed; we'll show you how! Please wear comfortable shoes, bring water and a buddy if you like. Sign up for a shift below!

Locations to Canvass:

Aug 26th from 11am - 1pm: KY State Fair
Aug 26th from 3pm - 5pm: Goodwill West Louisville Opportunity Center parking lot
Aug 26th from 6pm - 8pm: Louisville Zoo parking lot + neighboring area
Aug 27th from 11am - 1pm: Speed Art Museum parking lot + neighboring area
Aug 28th from 10am - 12pm: Speed Art Museum parking lot + neighboring area
Aug 30th from 11am - 1pm: KY State Fair
Sept 4th - 7th from 11am - 11pm: Worldfest
Sept 5th from 4pm - 8pm: Joyride event
Sept 8th from 10am - 12pm: Flutter Fest at the Louisville Zoo

It's that time of year again where you taste the best plant-based dishes at our Vegan Cook-off. We need volunteers to help with set up and take down.

Check-In: Upon arrival, please check in at the Registration Tent where you will receive your instructions. This is also where you can leave personal belongings in a secure area.

Dress Code: Comfortable clothing and shoes are recommended.

Breaks and Refreshments: Refreshments will be available at the Volunteer Tent. We have scheduled breaks for everyone, and you can coordinate break times with your co-volunteers and supervisors.

The Grocery Store Assessment Form is a tool designed to evaluate the quality, affordability, and accessibility of food options available in local grocery stores. Your input will help us generate valuable data that will inform our initiatives, partnership opportunities, and outreach programs.

As you complete this form, you'll be asked a series of questions about the grocery store you are assessing. These may include:

This assessment is expected to take approximately 20-30 minutes of your time. Feel free to take notes or photos as you move through the store to assist you in filling out the form accurately.

All information collected will remain confidential and will only be used for the purpose of improving the food environments in our community. Specific stores will not be identified in any public reports without their explicit permission.
