Our new Day Drop-In Center offers a safe, welcoming space where guests can rest, access computers and Wi-Fi, charge phones, and enjoy light snacks—all while experiencing hospitality from our staff and volunteers. As a Drop-In Center volunteer, you’ll help create a welcoming and supportive environment through tasks like: Greeting guests and creating a warm, respectful atmosphere Assisting with sign-in and check-in procedures as needed Restocking snack and beverage stations, including making coffee Helping guests access computers, Wi-Fi, or reading materials Tidying the space (e.g., wiping tables, organizing reading areas, restocking supplies) Offering conversation and social connection to promote a sense of communityLocation: Schedule: Volunteer shifts are available Monday through Friday, with both morning and afternoon time slots.
