Who We Are
Cedar Lake Lodge, Inc. was established in 1970 by parents of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities who asked the question, "What will happen to our children after we're gone?" Their goal was to provide a safe and stable home for their children after they became unable to care for them.
Cedar Lake is the region’s largest private, non-profit care provider for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
We offer an array of residential options and support services from 24/7 support for the most medically fragile, to intermittent support for those who live independently.
Cedar Lake operates in Jefferson, Oldham and Henry counties has 36 properties and supports 254 people with a staff of over 500.
