Who We Are

ElderServe is Louisville’s largest non-profit organization devoted to supporting older adults as they navigate the aging process.  Our mission is to empower seniors to live independently with dignity.  Our programs are centered on FOUR objectives: supporting independence, protecting older adults, promoting wellness and overcoming social isolation.

What We Do

ElderServe empowers older adults to live independently with dignity through the following services:

Care Management assists seniors in navigating geriatric care resources.

Adult Day Health Center provides on-site supervised medical care, activities, and nutritional meals to seniors while their caregiver is away during the day.

Crime Victim Services is the first and only program in Kentucky that advocates for seniors who are victims of crime.

The Senior Center is a social and recreational center for older adults in the Russell Neighborhood.

Active Choices provides coaching to homebound seniors who want to add physical activity to their daily lives.

TeleCare volunteers call isolated seniors to check on their well-being, reducing loneliness and improving health.

Friendly Visitor volunteers visit with homebound seniors who are at risk for social isolation.

Senior Companion program matches low-income, healthy senior volunteers with frail peers to assist them in appointments, meals, and shopping.
