Who We Are
The mission of the Friends of Beechwood Park is to develop Beechwood Park into a diverse new public gathering space that celebrates the site’s past Victorian history while allowing it the flexibility to be a 21st-century park space that contributes to the health and well being of the neighborhood.
What We Do
The purpose of The Friends of Beechwood Park is to preserve green space and create recreational opportunities for neighborhood residents. The Friends of Beechwood Park sponsor an annual street festival program designed to increase awareness of the park and its unique features. The free event offers art programs and games and art work for children and live music and entertainment in an outdoor setting. A variety of vendors offer food at the festival.
