Who We Are

Louisville Metro Government, Office of Social Services, Senior Nutrition Program.

What We Do

The Senior Nutrition Program provides nutritional lunchtime meals to active senior citizens at Congregate Meal Sites and delivers to homebound seniors through the Meals on Wheels Program, throughout the Louisville Metro area. These programs help to improve the lives of older adults by supporting good nutritional health and promoting their independence and well-being.

Congregate and Group Nutrition Sites offer an opportunity for seniors age 60 and older to come to a neighborhood location for a nutritious lunch, socialization and activities. Most sites are open from 9am to 1pm Monday through Friday.

Home delivered meals (Meals on Wheels) are delivered to the homebound elderly from the nutrition sites. Meals are provided to qualified individuals, age sixty or older, who are homebound.
