Glean Kentucky

Glean Kentucky was founded in 2010 in Central Kentucky and began operations in Oldham, Jefferson, Henry and Trimble County two years ago. Our dual mission is to reduce food waste and help to supply nutrient dense food to Kentucky's food insecure populations.

Glean Kentucky recovers food, mostly produce, that would otherwise go to waste from farmers, farmers markets, retailers and home gardeners and redistributes that food to feeding organizations. Our volunteers assist primarily with the pickup and delivery of produce and other food items.
