This flexible opportunity invites you to help in our clothes closet by sorting donations, cleaning clothing items, and organizing the space. We are continuously accepting donations, and volunteers play an essential role in ensuring the closet remains accessible and well-organized for our residents. The clothes closet is a vital resource for residential youth, providing access to essential items they may not have upon arrival, including clothing, shoes, bedding, toiletries, games, blankets, and more. Your support ensures these young individuals have what they need to feel comfortable and cared for.
We ask that volunteers commit to at least 2 hours, but the schedule is flexible to accommodate your availability. Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult supervisor, and a signed waiver is required for all volunteers prior to service. This is a great opportunity for both individuals and groups to give back to the community.
For more information or to coordinate your experience, please reach out to Marcie Stewart, Volunteer Coordinator, via email at mstewart@bellewoodandbrooklawn.org. Your generosity will make a meaningful difference in these children's lives.
