What you'll do (depending on your chosen role):
- Project-Based Volunteer: Contribute to specific financial projects, such as preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, assisting with audits, or developing financial procedures.
- Committee Member (Internal Affairs Committee): Collaborate with other committee members to review financial statements, monitor budget performance, provide financial oversight, and make recommendations to the board.
- Board Member (Treasurer or Finance Committee Chair): Participate in board meetings, contribute to organizational decision-making, fulfill fiduciary responsibilities, provide strategic oversight of financial matters, and ensure compliance with regulations.
Regardless of your role, you might:
- Review and analyze financial statements.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
- Assist with budget preparation and monitoring.
