Playgrounds have long been cherished, essential spaces where children can explore, play, and grow. Creative play, in particular, is vital for fostering problem-solving skills, enhancing social interactions, and promoting cognitive growth. Help us give the kids at Providence Childcare Center a play space that they never want to leave.
Using a huge collection of pallets and our imagination, we will be creating outdoor play spaces for children aged 30 months to school age. Volunteers will work in teams to tackle several projects. Volunteers will use basic tools like power drills, hammers, screwdrivers, levels, shovels, wheelbarrow, etc. The Center will be doing a ton of prep work to make the projects as simple to complete as possible.
This will be a fun, hands-on project that will provide years of great creative playtime opportunities for the kids!
We are looking for 30 volunteers in total you can sign up as individuals or as a group. The Center is on a tight deadline to complete this project. Thanks for your consideration.
