PROJECT DESCRIPTION
We are building the Tinker & Dorsey Alumni Hall on our campus. On Day of Action, volunteers will build the Alumni Hall indoor storage units.
PROJECT IMPACT
This project will benefit over 500 alumni who have completed the YouthBuild program. The Alumni Hall is being named after two former case managers who passed away. Alumni named the building after them because they made an impact on their life and worked extremely hard every day to help them thrive and succeed. Alumni Hall will be an incubator for alumni to engage with current students and staff providing resources to students as well as continue to develop their own career paths. It will be a free space that fosters a specific focus on additional career enrichment. We do not currently have a permanent space for alumni to continue working on their career goals and the completion of this project fills that service gap.
