2NOT1 uses intergenerational mentoring with a social-emotional learning focus in its theBLUEPRINT Rites of Passage (ROP) program, which is designed to advance black male achievement. ROP teaches boys how to deal with life conflicts as they transition from middle school to high school.
2NOT1 is seeking volunteers and mentors to advocate and support the boys through this transition. The meetings will be held once a week and outings will be offered on weekends. The outings are camping, fishing, gun safety initiatives, and other activities that offers the boys new opportunities and experiences.
2NOT1 is also seeking individual who wants to donate or prepare a meal for a meeting. There will be approximately 15 individuals including the boys and mentors.
