St. Matthews Area Ministries shares a community garden with Kids Center for Pediatric Therapies (Kosair East Campus).
Part of the produce serves clients at St. Matthews Area Ministries' food pantry and a portion is used to help special needs children learn practical life skills.
The garden needs to be prepped for the 2022 growing season. Tasks could include tilling, weeding, clearing old growth, and spreading mulch.
Please bring shovels and rakes if you have any and/or any hand gardening tools you may have (labeled with your name). This is not required; it is just better to have too many than too few.
For your safety no open toe shoes please.
