Through a generous donation from Temper Sealy International, we will receive 250 mattresses on Friday, March 31st. This allows us the opportunity to replace our current shelter mattresses across campus.
Friday, March 31st Agenda
7:30 AM - 8:00 AM
- Check in at FSC / light breakfast provided
8:00 AM – 1st Truck Delivery
- Client, Maintenance and Warehouse volunteers take old mattresses to dumpsters
- Warehouse and outside volunteers (no employees other than maintenance and warehouse) begin unloading mattresses to FSC Gym
- Staff and volunteers prep unloaded mattresses for delivery to shelters inside FSC
- Staff and volunteers to wipe down bed frames in Ozanam
10:00 AM – 2nd Truck Delivery
- Continue mattress deployment and cleaning
12:00 PM
- Lunch provided for volunteers and staff who helped located in FSC
