Mayor Give A Day is coming up and chose to clean up and beautify Froggy Forest (Leap Outside’s’ home base). I added to the United Way’s website our service project volunteer opportunity description. Details are as follows
Description:
Froggy Forest is Blackacre Preserve’s nature play area. We’ve removed the walls and brought child-led, exploratory learning to where it makes the most impact: outside. Volunteers we will be cleaning up the area. This includes:
- Adding chip bark to forest area
- Removing barbwire fence
- Removing weed overgrowth and debris
