Picture your typical annual nonprofit fundraiser, now make it Black. The Black Recharge is a time we engage all of our stakeholders in one space, from the  communities we serve to organizations who support our mission. We have an open bar tended by a local insured mixologist. We offer live art, art auctions with local Black artists, and Black vendors of small businesses sell their products to event guests.

We enjoy a warm and gracious meal catered by a Black business and we breathe life into one another. The Black Recharge is an affirming space where you may show up empty and burnt out but you will leave full, liberated, and ready to change the world.

This year our theme is “BAPS Taking up Space” and will feature three local Black chefs competing to create the best brunch dishes. The event will be held in a beautiful and stylish venue, where guests will be treated to a fun-filled day of food, drink, and entertainment.

Upon arrival, guests will be greeted by selfie stations with vibrant backdrops and props, which will offer an opportunity to capture the perfect shot and share the beauty of the event on social platforms.

Mimosa stations will be set up around the venue, where guests can enjoy a variety of refreshing mimosas, specially crafted for the occasion. While they sip, they can take advantage of unique confidence-boosting sessions, designed to inspire and motivate them.

Guests will be encouraged to network with like-minded individuals and engage in enlightening conversations, fostering a sense of community within the space.

Throughout the event, live Black art pieces will be on display, showcasing the talent and creativity of Black artists. Guests will have the opportunity to engage with the artists, learn about their work and purchase it.
