La Casita Center, with support from JustFundKY, is excited to host our 2023 PRIDE event! Latinx Pride is a joyful celebration of the intersection of Latinx and LGBTQ+ identities. La Casita Center is a bilingual environment, so expect to hear Spanish. Volunteers are not required to speak Spanish, but it is hepful.
This event is outside, so please wear comfortable clothing and shoes.
For this event, we will need volunteers for the following tasks:
Help with set-up: moving tables and chairs, placing decorations and signs
Help with break-down: moving tables and chairs, removing decorations and signs, cleaning and removing any trash
Help with food and drink: ensuring food and drink station is stocked with food, drinks, and supplies
Help with Child Enrichment: being an extra set of eyes to keep kids safe
