Resource Tuesday's at La Casita Center are the community events in which families come to the center to get diapers, food, COVID-19 vaccines and other available resources. Resource Tuesday happens every second Tuesday of the month, from 10am to 2pm. For La Casita Center to be ready every month, we receive much needed accompaniment from the community. We are looking for more extraordinary people to join us to work before the event and during the event! The event takes a lot of prep and many hands to help it run smoothly since a lot of community members show up, and we give out a large number of resources. We can't wait to see you there!
Bilingual skills (no matter how big or small) a huge plus, but not necessary. There are a variety of shifts available: June 9th and 12th are prep days (making food bags, organizing clothes, etc.), and June 13th is the community event itself where you can see the work in action!
