St. Vincent de Paul Louisville (SVDP) is excited to expand services to our Veterans Program by adding 24 additional private rooms for male and female Veterans who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, or have experienced homelessness in the past.
Renovations to an existing facility on our Shelby Park campus are currently underway and expected to last four to six months. The updated facility will include two self-service kitchens, laundry room facilities, and common spaces for recreation and socialization. Private rooms will come fully furnished.
Volunteers are needed on October 19 and 20, from 1 to 4 p.m. to help paint Veteran rooms.
