What’s often standing between people with cancer and life-saving treatment is a ride to get there. Help those facing cancer in your community get to appointments.
Volunteers with the American Cancer Society's Road To Recovery program use their personal vehicle to drive patients with limited or no transportation to cancer-related treatment appointments.
Rides are weekdays. You choose the rides that work with your schedule. Drivers are encouraged to provide a minimum of 2 rides per month.
Volunteer drivers are ages 18-84 with
- a safe driving record,
- a current license,
- a reliable vehicle, and vehicle insurance.
Volunteers interested complete online training and a background check. Volunteers review available rides via an online scheduling tool.
We would love your help!
