Volunteer Work Plan for the Fifth Annual Vegan Cookoff

Volunteer Roles & Responsibilities
1. Setup Crew (12:00 PM - 2:00 PM)
- Number of Volunteers: 6-8
- Responsibilities:- Set up CTCT tent, sidewalk sign, and banners (CTCT and Summit).
- Arrange tables and chairs for competitors, registration, juice, and games.
- Distribute CTCT cups, utensil sets, paper towels, 4 oz paper bowls, small paper plates, RTE Jambalaya meals, LFPA boxes, and CTCT tote bags at designated stations.
- Assist with general decor and layout adjustments.

2. Registration Table (1:30 PM - 6:00 PM)
- Number of Volunteers: 2
- Responsibilities:- Welcome attendees, check-in guests, and provide event information.
- Distribute CTCT tote bags and utensils.
- Collect any donations or registrations for future events.

3. Vendor Point of Contact (12:00 PM - 6:00 PM)
- Number of Volunteers: 2
- Responsibilities:- Assist vendors with setup and breakdown.
- Ensure vendors have all necessary supplies and answer any questions.
- Monitor the vendor area for any issues during the event.

4. Competitor Point of Contact (12:00 PM - 6:00 PM)
- Number of Volunteers: 2
- Responsibilities:- Assist competitors with setup and breakdown.
- Ensure competitors have all necessary supplies (paper bowls, plates, etc.).
- Coordinate the food tastings and ensure smooth transitions between competitors.

5. Juice Table (1:30 PM - 6:00 PM)
- Number of Volunteers: 2
- Responsibilities:- Serve cold-pressed juices to attendees.
- Keep the juice station clean and stocked.

6. General Event Flow (2:00 PM - 6:00 PM)
- Number of Volunteers: 4-6
- Responsibilities:- Assist with managing the flow of attendees between stations.
- Answer any questions and provide directions to different activities.
- Ensure the event runs on schedule and assist with any unforeseen issues.

7. MC/Event Host & DJ Management (1:30 PM - 6:00 PM)
- Number of Volunteers: 2
- Responsibilities:- Coordinate with the MC and DJ to ensure smooth transitions between event segments.
- Manage the event program and announcements.

8. CTCT Games Area (2:00 PM - 6:00 PM)
- Number of Volunteers: 2-3
- Responsibilities:- Set up and manage the games area.
- Engage attendees in the games and provide any needed instructions.

9. Cleanup Crew (6:00 PM - 7:00 PM)
- Number of Volunteers: 6-8
- Responsibilities:- Break down CTCT tent, tables, chairs, and banners.
- Pack up any leftover supplies, including CTCT cups, utensils, bowls, plates, etc.
- Ensure the venue is clean and all trash is disposed of properly.

General Volunteer Guidelines
- Arrival: All volunteers should arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled shift to receive any last-minute instructions.
- Attire: Volunteers should wear comfortable clothing and shoes, and a CTCT t-shirt if available.
- Check-In: Volunteers must check in with the Volunteer Coordinator upon arrival.
- Breaks: Volunteers will have designated breaks; please coordinate with your team members.
