Help SOS deliver health & hope to our neighbors in need! We welcome small volunteer groups to safely count, sort, organize and pack critically needed medical supplies to be donated. Volunteers will work in 3 hour shifts under the direction of a 'sort leader' sorting items in that day's category according to either item type, manufacturer or expiration date deadline.
Volunteers are the backbone of our mission, helping us to sort, organize and pack critically needed medical supplies to address the needs of communities we serve. Your participation as a volunteer during MGAD month will help SOS sort supplies needed for our Local Health Program, providing crucial medical and educational supplies to over 300 partner agencies (safety-net health clinics, job skills training for underprivileged students, and social service agencies serving the disenfranchised and vulnerable populations in our city and state.
